Lena/Sere rode on Kruse's back as they headed towards the Weather temple, with Syn asleep in a sling on her back.
"You know, since we have the Shadow pendent couldn't we like Shadow step to the Weather temple? it would take less time " She said to Kruse thinking about having to drop off some of her stuff pretty soon her pockets were getting a bit full.

::Kruse puffs smoke out his nostrils:: 'Look Lena, I'm not about to use the Shadow powers to simply get us there faster since a) I've never been there and b) I'm not to use to the powers yet.

::Blows another puff of smoke:: 'And before you ask, I'm not letting you use it either. You don't know if you can take me as well safely.'

Not like I'd actually ever tell you that I don't have it I think to myself.

'By the way, how much farther do we have to go?'

"I don't know..." She said aloud. "Just look for a temple in the swampy area I guess." she said watching the ground as they flew.

"Maybe it would have been faster if I swam there" she thought to herself with a sigh.

"After we're done with the Techno temple can we swing by first Valley so I can drop some things off?" she asked

'I guess we can. Don't see a problem with that.' He replies back.

I wonder if I used my fire magic, we can get there sooner?

'By the way, what was Haldis talking about?' He asks, placing the scene from earlier today.

Lena groaned. "I told you that is is none of your concern."Lena said getting slightly irratated that he was still hung up on that.

"Just get there. I'm done discussing this" She said with a huff. "One more word about that and I swear I just might jsut jump off his back and hope I land in the water" she thought to herself

'Hmph, sorry. I was just concerned for your safety. Didn't sound like she had your best interest in mind.' Kruse replies back, putting himself in a foul mood.

"so, Kruse how was life on Terra?" Lena asked trying to lighten the sour mood that they both were in right now.

Kruse is silent for a moment. His body then shivers and he shakes his head, several puffs of smoke escaping his nose.

Lena grips Kruse tight when she felt him him shiver. "Whoa..." she said. "what's wrong?" she asked worried.

'Nothing,' Kruse replies. 'Nothing at all.' He is silent for a few moments before continuing. 'Life on Terra was quite different then here. Though I didn't see all of Terra, I did get a large amount of teachings about it.'
